The Keshava temple of Somanathapura is one of the many examples of the architecturally rich monuments of India. Located

24 miles east of Mysore in Karnataka, India, the temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna. The stone inscription at the entrance gives information that the temple was built in 1268 by a Hoysala commander named Somanatha under the patronage of the Hoysala King Narasimha III.

The goal of the exhibit is to honour this sculptural marvel. The exhibit is curated by Vanishree Mahesh.
